The Authority of Ash Community

Authority of Ash Community

In every complex system, people eventually gather to discuss the things they cannot yet explain. We built the world of Authority of Ash with that principle in mind.

Readers encounter the events of the HAWK series through the novels. Players experience the mechanical structure of the world through the tabletop game. Observations, questions, and theories inevitably follow both.

For that reason, we are preparing a dedicated community space where readers and players can examine discoveries together. Readers can compare patterns noticed in the story, discuss strange artifact behavior, and investigate unusual details scattered throughout the world of Garza collaboratively.

Much of the Authority’s work occurs quietly behind containment doors and secured records. Curiosity, however, rarely remains contained for long.

Why a Community Exists

The Authority of Ash universe operates on layered discovery. Certain information appears clearly within the books. Additional details surface through the tabletop system and its mechanics. A small number of anomalies may even appear elsewhere across official materials.

When those moments occur, conversation naturally follows.

Discussion spaces allow readers and players to compare interpretations of events within the HAWK series, evaluate the properties of unusual artifacts, and explore how the systems of Garza interact beneath the surface of daily life.

Observations made by one reader often illuminate something another may have overlooked. Collaborative discovery tends to reveal patterns that individual investigation cannot easily uncover.

For a world built on systems, networks, and hidden mechanisms, collective analysis becomes an essential tool.

Topics of Discussion

Several discussion areas are planned as the Authority of Ash community forums expand. Each section will focus on a different part of the universe and its evolving discoveries.

Group Discussions

HAWK Series Discussion

Conversation within this section will focus on the events of the Authority of Ash book series, including character decisions, institutional dynamics, and the emerging consequences of artifact activity throughout the city.

Interpretations of key scenes can be explored here without disrupting readers who may still be progressing through the story.

The World of Garza

Garza operates as more than a setting. Infrastructure, governance, and containment systems all interact with the strange phenomena that occasionally appear across the city.

Within this space, discussions will explore the worldbuilding of Garza, its districts, its institutions, and the structural forces that attempt to maintain stability when unusual events begin to accumulate.

Artifacts and Enhancers

Objects discovered throughout the Authority of Ash universe rarely behave like ordinary tools. Many demonstrate unusual temperature shifts, resonance patterns, or structural effects that challenge standard explanations.

The artifact and enhancer discussion area will allow readers and players to compare observations, document unusual behaviors, and explore the possible relationships between artifacts, enhancers, and the forces that influence them.

Some discoveries may eventually connect. Others may remain unresolved.

Both outcomes are expected.

Tabletop Game Strategy

Players exploring the Authority of Ash tabletop role playing game will encounter artifact combinations, enhancer interactions, and Spirit mechanics that reward experimentation.

Strategies, campaign experiences, and mechanical discoveries can be exchanged here as the player community expands.

System mastery often develops through collaboration rather than isolation.

Community Investigations

Occasionally, something unexpected may appear within official Authority of Ash material. A phrase may appear in an unusual place. A symbol may recur across different sections of the site. A pattern may surface where none seemed intended.

When those moments occur, the community will have a place to examine them together.

Sometimes the explanation will be simple. Other times it will not.

The Role of Curiosity

Curiosity has always been difficult to regulate.

Even within the most structured institutions, questions tend to travel faster than official answers. Records are compared. Theories are proposed. Conversations form around the edges of incomplete information.

Within the world of Authority of Ash, those instincts become part of the experience itself.

Readers who enjoy analyzing systems will find plenty to explore. Players who prefer experimentation will encounter mechanics that reward careful observation. Visitors who simply appreciate unusual ideas may still discover details worth noticing.

The community exists to give those instincts a shared space.

Forum Access and Future Expansion

The Authority of Ash forums will open as the readership and player base continue to grow. Additional sections may appear over time as new discoveries emerge within the books, the game, and the wider project.

Subscribers to the site will receive announcements when the forums become fully active.

Until that point, the community section will continue expanding with new material related to the world of Garza, the HAWK series, and the systems that attempt to understand the artifacts appearing within it.

Stability, after all, has never been permanent in Garza—only maintained.

To ensure that you are receiving and participating in all that the Authority of Ash has to offer, you need to sign up for the Newsletter to receive one of a kind information, follow the Blog for universal and timely updates, and check in on the other pages of the website (including the main World page and More Page) for any potential additional information. Happy reading, playing and investigating.
